New parts arriving soon

I had to get new head bolts due to corrosion. I ordered stock replacements from headbolts.com for under $60 with shipping. They should be here Saturday.

I was cleaning up the rockers and noticed they were worn very badly on the push rod side. I stopped cleaning after the third one and ordered new kits from Melling with the pivots and bolts. Under $100 with my Son's discount. Cheap insurance. They should be in today.

Things are looking positive to have the engine assembled and in the cradles this weekend so I can test fit the headers and then break it in soon. I would be lying if I said I wasn't a bit concerned about the headers fitting since I can find no one who has installed them on a dentside and the guy from Holley said he was "almost positive they had customers who used them" ;)
